I think it is very important to focus on things that you can personally control. When starting a fitness program or if you’re trying to break through a plateau there are some fundamental components that should not be overlooked. Today we will talk about the first of these four fundamental components to fitness success.
Believe in Yourself
The first one is a simple property and sometimes, one of the most difficult to follow. It is to believe in yourself. You have to believe that you can complete the program, get back on track, eat healthy, and get the body that you want. That is it. I have a t-shirt that states: Failure is not an option. You have to focus on the goal of getting a stronger, leaner, and healthier body then don’t stop. One of my favorite quotes comes from Yoda (the little green dude from Star Wars) he says: “Do or do not, there is no try.”
It sounds easy, actually if you think about it, it can be. Set your goal then start to believe. Remember this: YOUR ATTITUDE WILL DETERMINE YOUR ALTITUDE (how high you go in life).
